I’ve been watching British adventurer Bear Grylls of late and find his techniques and advice on survival interesting. Having achieved so much at the young age of 33, from surviving breaking his back in three places, to almost being killed when ice collapsed under him leaving him dangling thousands of feet by just a rope, he certainly knows his stuff when it comes to survival. The man has courage and guts and is for sure living life to the full, through his skills he shows people how to survive if caught in an unexpected event, lets say in this instance a plane crash in the Sahara. He shows you how to get fluids the unconventional way, the odd dead camel and its water reservoir in its tummy or even from its digested food, even drinking your own pee if you don’t happen to come across a camel carcass, and the things he eats for protein and such as, bugs, frogs and snakes well lets just say I don’t think I’d last one day, I couldn’t bear (no pun intended) to put such things in my mouth.

His wife  is lucky to have a man that will push her to the limits if ever caught in that sort of situation for real. I wonder though how many bottles of mouthwash she asks him to drink before giving her a kiss when he returns from his expeditions.
